About Chatuhshala

Chatuhshala is an architecture firm based in the village of Sarisab-Pahi, Madhubani district, Bihar. We specialize in affordable and sustainable architecture, focusing on developing waste into raw materials for construction. Our mission is to contribute to a circular economy and provide accessible, eco-friendly building solutions.

Founder


Architect Mayank is a distinguished graduate of Jadavpur University and IIT Kharagpur. His work, recognized in international publications like The Architecture Fringe, and  IBSR Conference 2024 emphasizes innovative, culturally-rooted design. Drawing from his extensive experience in Sikkim and West Bengal, Mayank founded the firm with a vision to integrate vernacular wisdom with modern solutions. Focused on sustainability, affordability, and community-centered design, he collaborates with local artisans and embraces eco-conscious practices.
